Why Choose Us as Your Provider

PHILOPSOPHY OF CARE

Family and client-centered approach is a foundational component within all programs and services POYS provides. Each child, youth, and family is valued and respected. Our employees recognize and strive to build upon the unique strengths of each child, youth, and their family to achieve their short and long-term goals.

OUR HISTORY

POYS has a rich history that spans over 35 years serving children, youth, and their families. The organization today is the result of the merger of three esteemed agencies: Paradise Oaks Youth Services, Crossroads Treatment Centers, and Martins’ Achievement Place. The mergers have allowed us to meld the best practices from each organization to meet the growing needs of the population we serve. We carry out our mission each day through providing high-quality services in our residential programs, clinical programs, and Foster Family Agency.

LEADERSHIP & SERVICES

Our qualified leadership team provides an array of thoughtful and informed intervention programs to meet at-risk children and youths’ diverse and individual needs. Our leadership team utilizes a family and client-centered approach to ensure services are personalized, coordinated, and enabling. All programs and services operate under POYS’s core values: Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Diversity & Inclusion, and Empathy.

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

We are committed to creating a culture of learning and improvement. Since 2017, POYS has been accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International). Our services, programs, administration, and leadership have been rigorously evaluated and meet best practice standards. Our organization is also in partnership with the California Alliance of Child and Family Services, who is the unifying force in the charge to lead change and provide support for the state’s children, youth, and families.
